I have forgotten how many posts per page so maybe this is FTP for 1290?

12+ hours without power.  Depending on the kindness of family and friends.  Shades of a few years ago, 2 1/2 days without it.  At least it was on at work.  Lots of tree damage.  A month ago it was hail.  Always something, right? 😉

Another FTF. Another DNF on a lonely cache. My shoes are soaked.

Now I need to find out why MyGeocaching has me at 2396 finds but I have over 2400.

Noonan……just had to peek.  Your Lonely DNF was a memorable Find for us back when the trails had been sitting unused for only 10-15 years 😉  Looked like a lot of work put in by one person that no longer skied.   Hope you make it back for the Find one day.  P.S.  Check for ticks.   Horrible spot during the wrong times of the year,  😉 😎

FTP for Saturday June 18th.  Power came on yesterday afternoon.  Now to clean out the spoiled food and shop for replacements…😬$$ …but also grateful for safety and limited damage. ☺

Ticks haven’t been a problem except around the (new) house. We keep the chickens penned up here after losing our daughter’s most precious one to a coyote just a few feet from the house. She actually saw it run off with her in its mouth. She was mortified.

Not sure if I want to make the hike back there again unless I hear more from someone that has found it and remembers something to help limit my search.

FTP for the longest day.  I have a long day ahead of me, so it’s appropriate.  Happy Summer!

I don’t know if there’s a more direct way to call attention to this cache other than flagging it like I did in my log, but it needs to be addressed post haste before someone gets shot. The neighbor I mentioned in my log was armed. Thankfully, a reasonable fellow in the end, but he had a gun and was ready to use it.

I’m not on that social media website, not sure what we’re calling it now.

Getting a little frustrated with a certain CO’s hides. They’ve been in the game for 10 years and have twice the “hundred before you hide” rule of thumb, but coordinates and D/T ratings all seem way too low. Seems hints have gone out of vogue in recent hides in this area too.
