1.  What is your geocaching name?

2. How did you choose your geocaching name?
It actually is my family nickname. I was Nae when we grew up because my younger brothers had trouble pronouncing my full name and the Nae stuck. I gained the Auntie part when my first nephew was born.

3. What has been your role as a WGA Board of Director?
I have served as the WGA Treasurer for the past 5 years.

4. What do you like best about being involved with the WGA?
The best parts of serving on the BOD has been the people and the places it has taken me.

5. If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?
If you came over for dinner we would have a cook out include brats from the grill and various salads.

6. Do you like to camp?
I worked at Girl Scout Camp in Northern WI so you bet I love to camp although these days it is a bit more difficult because I have sleep apnea and require electricity to run my CPAP.

7. Have you had any geocaching-related injuries?
I definitely have had geocaching injuries with the best one being torn ligaments in my leg requiring me to use a walking boot and months of physical therapy.

8. What is your favorite food?
My most favorite food is Coconut Shrimp from Joe’s Crab Shack.

9. What kitchen utensil is most like you?
The kitchen utensil most like me would have to be a dutch oven.

10. Besides geocaching, what are your interests/hobbies?
Currently, my other interests and hobbies include scrapbooking and volunteering as a transport driver coordinator for Tailwaggers911 Dog Rescue. I also have enjoyed small boat sailing and canoeing.

1.       What is your geocaching name?

2. How did you choose your geocaching name?
I’m sad to say that my caching name is really lame, it’s just my real name.  Day is an old family last name that died out in the male line.  The name was given to me as a middle name so that I could carry it on.  When I signed up for my geocaching name I didn’t realize what a big deal it was.  By the time it occurred to me to change it I was already known by plenty of people as Beccaday, so I decided to keep it.

3. What has been your role as a WGA Board of Director?
In my first year I helped with planning and carrying out events.  I’m also on the education committee and helped with teaching a few Geo 101 classes.  I also took on the task of creating the newsletter every quarter.  I was recently elected to the role of Secretary, as well.

4. What do you like best about being involved with the WGA?
I have met some great people being involved with the WGA.  I also like how the WGA has introduced me to different places in the state that I’ve never been before.

5. If we came to your house for dinner, what would you prepare for us?
I don’t have a specific go-to dish that I prepare for company.  We often grill for our guests and I have a recipe for sweet potatoes that is amazing!  I also like to make some sort of interesting dessert for my guests.

6. Do you like to camp?
Yes!  Our family has a cabin that we built on our property up in Taylor county, which is almost like glorified camping.  Because we head there fairly often we don’t get out camping in other parts of the country as often as I’d like.  But we’re tent campers and enjoy getting out in nature.

7. Have you had any geocaching-related injuries?
Yes I have, many!  Thanks to geocaching I can now boast that I am allergic to poison ivy.  This allergy comes after repeated exposure, which seems to happen to me every summer.  I’ve also gotten numerous scrapes and bruises.  My favorite geocaching-related incident was when I got hyperthermia when I fell into some icy spring-melt water and then had to walk ¾ mile back to the car.

8. What is your favorite food?
Come on, who doesn’t love pizza?  But my favorite pizza is the homemade kind where I get to pick the toppings.

9. What kitchen utensil is most like you?
I think I am probably most like the whisk.  I’m constantly spinning around in different directions trying to get everything put together.

10. Besides geocaching, what are your interests/hobbies?
I am very active in my church and I spend a lot of time helping out there.  At my church I am also the choir director for the children’s choir and a Sunday School teacher.  I am also a project leader for my children’s 4H club.  I am working with the county to create our first year of having a Geocaching project.  I am helping my daughter learn how to do cake decorating, which has been really fun.  I love to read a variety of books and sometimes hide caches based on these books.  With my family I love to hike, canoe, snowshoe and other outdoorsy stuff but we often combine these things with geocaching.
