At the request of the Board, I've made some changes to the "forum titles" that appear along with other user information (username, avatar, number of posts, location, etc.) on posts made in the forums. In a nutshell, the old forum titles related to your association status (i.e. WGA Member, WGA Friend) are gone. Users can optionally set a custom/personal forum title on the [url=http://www.wi-geocaching.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account2&_tab=preferences]Preferences tab[/url] in the Your Account module. Two new region types have been added to the States/County/Country Statistics module on the site, DeLorme Map Pages and US Territories. [b]DeLorme Map Pages[/b] The first new region type is DeLorme map pages, which lets you record your finds on pages of the DeLorme Atlas and Gazetteer for the recently announced [url=http://delorme.ikrug.com]Wisconsin DeLorme Challenge[/url]. Note that the WGA site is not meant to be the official source of results for the challenge, but we are providing the capability to enter completed map pages here to allow our members to list all their region finds in one place. All of the additional data fields, such as cache name, date of find, and log entry link, can also be specified when creating a DeLorme map page stats entry.

Three significant new features were added to the website yesterday... state/county stats maps, recent log entry forms for stats and milestones, and alert messages.

The switchover to the new WGA website has essentially been completed... it went a little faster than I thought. Most of the time was just spent shuffling data around. It took 6 hours to download all the data from the old server and another 4 to upload it back to the new server. Note that I also want to enjoy what is left of this holiday weekend so I might not get back to you right away...
