Hello TS'ers! I hope y'all had a happy 4th!

My son is hiding a new cache series that we're all excited about. It's for his Geocaching 4H project. Should be fun!

Not sure if it is the change in geography, but we are sure having a tough time finding caches! 1/3 so far, but the two DNFs were chosen because they are close to home, not because people had been finding them. We were the 5th to DNF the last one since it was last found

Who would think paddling all out for 250 meters three times would take so much out of a person? wink We had fun, we made it to the consolation round and lost that by....one second.

A fun day, it's for a wonderful cause and I'll do it again next year. Our team rocked the warmups with our yoga routine!

That one took us forever to find. We'll, me. My wife finally came with and found it right away. We have all of them in Somerset and NR if you want any nudges. I'm scratching my head about one of yours right now.

Thanks. As a postscript, I met 2X2L on my last try in NR. We DNF on a FTF that turned into a nobody found because kids placed it and told friends... It was great talking to someone with the same drive and excitement for caching in the middle of packing!
Now, if I could figure out if the caches we can't find around here are really gone or just harder to find than the most recent searchers could find...

2328 miles on the bikes; eight days; 32 Michigan DeLorme pages; 43 Michigan counties and we are home! It was a great trip. Leaving at 6:30 a.m. tomorrow for Spokane, Washington - in a vehicle this time!
