I have an idea for your to-do list Marie. I think you need to add the line "stuff beccaday into my suitcase". Laughing

Thunder rolling this morning! Got a chance to find a few in Hudson because they have late starts on Thursdays. Tried to grab one of everything plus avenge a few that the snow had hidden this winter. Got all the ones I wanted except for the last, an easy multi, but I think I figure out "second digits" differently than Spike does. I count from the left. Doing so took me to...nothing. Especially since the clue had me looking up and in something. Ran out of time and the thunder was getting close, so I left without it. Still a good way to get the day started!

My eye isn't watering as badly as yesterday, but I didn't put in my contacts today. I can still feel something "on" my eye, but I don't feel it all the time either. Sometimes it feels like it is on the left, sometimes on the right. Sometimes it is fine.

If you can feel something, then it likely is dirt or something. When Trekkin' poked his eye, it wasn't anything he felt, but his vision was blurred.

Still is.

That's reassuring! I just wish it would get out! We tried to rinse it yesterday, but nothing worked.

Eight sandlanders caches placed for the campout. Five have published; three already found, two still unfound. Three submitted for review; two last night, one just now.

That's it. Enjoy!

Apparently Poohs Pal will not be with us today, so I'm going to take advantage of that fact and go do a little birding before the storms hit.

Looks like one of our (almost) hometown guys is looking to be drafted, fourth round tops. Pederson (TE, WI) is from just across the border in Menominee. Great kid, great work ethic, there is going to be a team that will be very pleased they drafted him. I don't see him fitting the Packers mold for TE, but there are many teams that want a guy like him - especially close to the end zone, like in Madison, he's deadly.

And, as an added bonus, his mom's a teacher. Funny how I didn't put those names together until just now!

Does anybody have a recommended method of estimating distances you can't cross to answer questions for an earthcache? GC23CQB for example.

Sure, give me an old-school answer Smile
I was wondering if there was something that would let me do it digitally on the spot Smile

sonar

I just figured out the answer right now with computer maps and distance calculators, so when you get to the correct spot, use your technology to call me, and I will tell you the answer. Or do I have to text it to you to make things totally digital? Rolling Eyes
