"Here" is New Richmond, just northeast of Hudson. Talk in the lounge at lunch was "if we get the weather will they call off school?" There wasn't a concensus. This is a school that is open more than almost any other one in the area, so they haven't missed as many days.
Two weeks ago, there was a pointed article in the local paper where the Super had to review when and why they would cancel school. The public doesn't seemed too pleased with the conditions in which they have had school.

We could do without a lot of rain a bit longer here......ground is still frozen, which means the basement is vulnerable.

We haven't put it back together for that reason. Gets old.

That was one of my first finds! I loved it. Too bad it is disabled right now, not that anybody could really get to it now anyway.

Seriously? Come on now....it is April 2nd!

As much as it stinks, it isn't unheard of. My daughter's birthday is 4/17 and I can think of several birthdays of hers that had snow on the ground.

I'm excited! the Babe the Blue Ox cachekinz that I bought at the WGA campout fell off of my caching bag and I thought it was gone for good. Today a geocacher found it on the ground near a cache and picked it up. Yeah!

Spike007 are some of my favorite hides. I've cached a bit in River Falls and in Hudson.

I'm not sure that tomorrow is the best day for Mom to come back from Arizona. Confused Current plan is for my brother to pick her up at MSP at 3:00 and drive her back to Auburndale. That would put them here between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. Razz Maybe she can exchange her tickets for a flight next week.

I feel very fortunate to be in the middle of his cache zone

Thoughts and prayers go out to those at Fort Hood. Sad
