I received several logs of area caches that were dated in October 2011, including some caches that got archived since October 2011. All were copy and paste logs too.

Looks like I'm gonna go look at the physical logbooks at my own caches to make sure the cacher actually visited those caches.

Otherwise the "delete" button will get a workout.

Some cachers don't get around to logging their finds for a long time, especially from a trip and especially when they find quite a few. And when they find quite a few, you sometimes get copy-and-paste logs. I don't know why some people wait several months or even years to write their logs, but I've seen it happen quite often.

Big series starting tonight between the Brewers and the Cubs. Three games to determine who will be in sole possession of the cellar. Rolling Eyes

I have had cachers backdate logs because they cached in a family or team back then and now have their own GC account and want to have those finds on the new one since they were there once upon a time.

if that be the case, you won't find that name on your logs. their C&P log should mention why they are logging this way though. If not, I would email them prior to deleting any logs.

And that's exactly the case with this cacher in question. She's the wife of a cacher who cached on that same day. So no log deletion today.

I keep wondering when my daughter is going to be interested in logging her finds. Her profile shows about a hundred but I bet she's been along with me on close to a thousand finds.

My Pine Squirrels seem to have disappeared. Though I was expecting this to happen, the suddenness with which it happened took me by surprise.
Maybe now the Hummingbirds will return in the numbers that used to be here.
