FYI kids ... Festival Foods (I went to Fond du Lac) has Sprecher's Hard Root Beer, a whole shelf of it. It's an instore special $4.99 for a four pack. Don't know if that's a good price or not, CJ wasn't giving any clues regarding his storage place.

Full days with a three year old leave me worn out for anything other than...sitting. Sad. You'd think by now, I could adjust, but NOOOOooo!

Today's tick count was in the single digits, which is a miracle considering the crazy marsh terrain I was in today. Fortunately, all were the bigg'ins.

I did end up in mud up to my knees several times and got stuck, thought I was going to have to live in the marsh for a while.

My son beat me in the tick contest today, 9-4. The grandson had 1. I guess riding on Daddy's shoulders helps a bit! ( No, my son did NOT ride on my shoulders!)

Gah! I was racing the clock, trying to get my caches logged before geocaching.com went down for maintenance. Nope, didn't make it.

In Milwaukee county we send all of our ticks to Waukesha and Ozaukee counties. The ticks seem much happier there.
