FTP #516

Come on, I'm trying to cut down on these, but when you leave it sitting out there like that ...

I think that is strictly a guy's snack. No one wants anchovies on them?

Speaking of which, what was the reaction of your first ever encounter with a tick, everyone?

Me, I was like, "Ahhhhhh get it off!!! GET IT OFF!!!"

Now I'm like, "Oooh, I got 7 ticks on me." *flick* *flick* *flick* *flick* *Gets out tweezers and plucks an embedded one* *flick* *flick*

Ticks don't bother me as much anymore so as long as I keep checking for them and make sure they are not embedded in me.

Had some deer ticks on us today. Hopefully, none are still around! I know that the deer ticks are more harmful, but those bigger wood ticks are just gross. Not looking forward to having them crawling all over us as the warm weather progresses.

Personally, I would like to see The Squirrel get in on the FTP action a bit more. Heidy Heidy Heidy

Open Letter to Mother Nature:

I love your beautiful earth and all its complexity, but could you make sure it does not rain Thursday. I do not mind the cooler temperatures, just please no rain.

Sincerely,

Me

P.S. Do not get any smart a$$ ideas about the snow and ice either.

We don't get all grossed out, and we flick them, too. But since Trekkin's been a three time Lyme patient....we really don't care much for them. Each case of Lyme has been more debilitating and he doesn't want to find out how bad it can really get.

Birdin, we'll be caching in your area this weekend. Got the Weird one on my list.

Got mine Saturday. Woke up Sunday and found it's evil head imbedded. Keeping an eye on it to see if it becomes a bullseye. Went through Lymes once. Not thrilled to take those horse pills again and throw up after taking one. No fun.
