Good luck on your mission, Mr. G. Hoping the weather continues to be nice later when I head home. I want to take a couple driving breaks south of Madison if it's not pouring! One more workshop and storytelling concert and we are eating way too much food here!!!

Good luck to Mr. GT and SS, as well as to Froggerz. Have fun!

Well, we're heading out for our first official frog listening survey. Wood frogs, chorus frogs, and spring peepers on the list for tonight.

and that's necessary why?

This is what we did last night and why:
http://wiatri.net/inventory/FrogToadSurvey/

The high point of the run was having a northern leopard frog calling right next to the road. It sounded exactly like the recording we listened to... a snore with funny chuckles at the end. But we heard so many chorus frogs and spring peepers in three-plus hours that we were still hearing them in our heads as we drifted off to sleep last night.

I find it funny how some geocachers go on a road trip just to get an FTF that supposedly sat for a week only to discover it was found 6 days earlier but not logged online.

I had to laugh when I read the logs of said cache today.

We've finally arrived safely back home after an early morning trip to MKE to send my daughter away for a week on her class trip. It was tough watching her walk down the concourse without us.

Good news is they've arrived safely at LAX and are enroute to the Queen Mary where they're spending the night.

I went for a mile walk along the Mascoutin Valley Trail in Fond du lac to just get away for some quiet time. Not big on the power trails, but walking a 1/2 mile each way netted me 4 caches, lots of birds, a spooked hen turkey, and something that indicates the Easter Bunny isn't coming next year.

See my GC profile. I found the same cache today.

Trust me, it wasn't an FTF run. And yes, the cache was not logged for 6 days.

I encountered a signpost cache about 9 feet in the air today. How annoying! Why do people rehide like that?!

Well, you guys found that one OCH cache but didn't make an attempt to find the other that was nearby. So I figured, just an FTF run. Surprised you went a bit north instead.

By the way, I happened to be near the Mission Impossible L5 cache when you guys found that one. I was at a bar nearby and saw you guys parked there.

Was it the one by Druid Lake?

I replaced it the way I found it. I had to put my daughter on my shoulders to reach it.
