2 new black belts in the house after yesterday. Both daughters have updraded from "junior blackbelt" status to fully recognized black belts. Mom and Dad are definately proud of the accomplishment made by both and the commitment they've made over the last 5+ years.

They've decided to expand their horizons into other activities, which is going to be great for them also. I'm just a little sad that I'll be taking class without them. There aren't many activities where a dad gets to participate directly with his daughters, so these will be some great memories for me.

GOOD MORNING!!!!

Congrats to CJ's daughters. Another note to CJ, you could have warned me about the bird excrement. It was really disgusting.

Big Jim: you picked Gonzaga Rolling Eyes .....they were not that good. I was so smart in picking Wisconsin to beat 'em Wow Big Grin No No LOL

I am looking forward to celebrating my pop's b-day today. I am more excited to give him and my brother the beer maker tix I bought for them and myself.

Have a good day everyone.

Just got back from lunch and thought I'd share a photo of dessert. Chessecake Chimis - 2 pieces of frozen cheesecake deep fried in a tortilla. Split it in half, add a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream, caramel, chocolate sauce, and a couple of cherries. A meal for one, but perfect to be split with a friend.

Not the best kind of sharing but it is better than nothing.

my bracket is done. both of my finalists lost already and only a handful of possibles will keep my total very low. Did go 21/32 in the first round. all downhill from there.

I still have the potential of 13 teams playing in the sweet 16, depending on what happens in tonight's games. Not looking good for Kansas right now.

It's a great day to be a Hoosier (fan). Even better than IU winning was my daughter making the Neenah Girls Varsity Soccer team.

1st game is Thursday down in Milwaukee at Uihlein soccer park on Good Hope Rd. Can you all make sure to scrape the pitch clean of snow first?

Am I "old school"?

We just got a wedding invite (from my niece).

1) It's a postcard (I'm used to more traditional invites with an RSVP card included)
2) RSVP is via a website
3) No Mr. & Mrs., but my wifes first name and my first name (in that order even though I'm the uncle)
4) The wedding ceremony invite is a small sticker attached to the postcard
