Four inches of new craphas... all because jar42 wanted to use up the gas in his snowblower... |

This stuff is too heavy for the snowblower. Trekkin' used the shovel. It has finally seemed to stop. |

I arranged for someone to shovel our craphas. We had just about an inch. It felt weird watching someone else do it, but I think I could get used to it. |

I went out at 5 and blew most of the drive clear.
The town hasn't been by yet so I'll finish tomorrow morning.
Still got gasoline left....we may need more craphas. |

I have 4 gallons of gas yet, which would fill the snowblower at least 6 times. The alternative is to not put this in the snowblower, but put it into the lawnmower which could only be filled twice.
I'm hoping for the lawnmower option. |

So on my ride up to Lake Eleven on Friday I was basically offered a job. Only thing is has nothing to do with Mechanical Design but would involve lots of outdoors activities. |

That's another advantage to the Polaris. After the craphas has melted I just take off the plow and take it out caching on the ATV trails |

Argg why does there have to be so much going on the weekend of May 18th. There's the camp out, Crystal Lake Classic, and now a race being put on by the team I'm racing for. |

Today I finally broke down. After 14 WI winter seasons I lost it. Before, there could never be too much snow but I cracked, I caved, I broke down and gave up. I can't take it anymore.
I am over the slushy mess. I can't handle the wet shoes as I run along the trails and I can't handle dodging of the drivers intentionally trying to spray me with road gunk. I lost it.
But now I am better though I still look forward to dry paths and sunny days- the 30 degrees is okay. The promise of Spring is close at hand. |
