For CJ ....
Palenque Coffee House
Coffee talk! One machine aims to bring the glamor back to drip coffee—the Clover coffee brewer. It was developed in 2005 by the Seattle-based Coffee Equipment Company. As opposed to a batch brew that yields enough cups to get a business through the morning rush, the Clover brews one cup of coffee at a time. With a Clover, our barista, Ryan, and you can customize the way the coffee tastes by tinkering with the water temperature and the brewing time. How cool is that!
The result is not the kind of coffee you add milk or sugar to, and it sure doesn't begin with anything instant. This coffee maker has become a way to highlight coffee beans from around the world. The Clover has coffee drinkers reaching into a wine lover's vocabulary for words like earthy, citrusy and spicy.
Depending on where you live, finding a Clover coffee maker might have been as difficult as finding its four-leafed namesake, but you don't have to look far if you live in Ripon, WI. Here at Palenque Coffee House we are proud to offer you this unique way of brewing up that "gotta have" morning "cuppa." Stop in and let Ryan brew something up just for you! |

I was in the crowd, but they mostly show the students. I was up a little higher. I wasn't surprised at the outcome, after watching Dominican play Cuba City on Thursday, but I was pleased with the way our boys played. You could tell that they were intimidated by Dominican's height. Lots of shots were lofted up with more arc than they normally would have, to avoid being blocked. Wilson is amazing ... looking forward to see him play at Marquette next year. Stone is just a giant. I was not impressed with his skills, and especially not with his endurance ... he was walking up the court on offense by the second quarter ... but feed him the ball in the paint and stand back. Hard to believe he's just a sophomore. Mostly I was proud that none of our boys cried after the game. They seemed satisfied and proud of their silver ball, and they should. |

Took the route through the land of round-abouts on the way home. Stopped and dropped off a couple shirts. Then cruised through Sandland, but didn't stop. Absolutely no caching on this trip. |

Preliminary word from the Oconomowoc Forensic's meet is that I better start solving some puzzles in the Oshkosh area.
I will believe it when I see the score sheets upon her return. |
What's the date of the state competition? |
The date is the 23rd in Neenah not Oshkosh. The daughter volunteered me to chaperone, so I guess caching will not happen. I will need to be there 8 -5. The wife is happy because I will still have an arm in a cast then and she will not have to worry about me breaking myself more (her words).
Big Jim: Auburndale should be proud. I thought they were terrific. |
