| One of my favorite memories is the blooming dogwoods in the Ozarks. Spectacular. |
I went to school in east central Illinois (at the time of Mike Shanahan, but prior to Sean Payton and Tony Romo), and every spring the campus and the surrounding area was a vision of spring decked out in dogwoods and redbuds. We were back there a couple of years ago, and I made a pilgrimage to one place I lived one spring where I could look out my window and see intertwined white and pink dogwoods blooming across and down the street. They still looked beautiful almost forty years after I had first seen them.

I forgot I was using the mint chip cone for my avatar right now. Surprised me when I saw it pop up. |
