Left home at 11:30 with a temp of 30 and a steady rain ... but I had to fill today on my calendar ... oh, wait, no I didn't  But I did have a meeting in Wausau and the guy in charge had not cancelled it. A mile down the road I hit a patch of ice and started fish-tailing, so I pulled off to the side of the road and made a few phone calls. Consensus was that the guy in charge had waited too long and that many people were already on the road. Since I am "the guy in charge", I really had no option but to continue on.  Drove in rain, sleet, and snow, but I made it there and back. Sometimes it sucks being the guy in charge  |
