They say laughter is the best medicine but it also a great way to start the day. I received a notice about a note pertaining to the sweet treat event this past Saturday that STILL has me laughing.......

"I must say that was some awfully strong food coloring in that frosting. I had two cupcakes yesterday and I know my lips and tongue were blue for a while … no big deal. I had my major surprise last night and this morning as to just how strong that food coloring was ……. (I’m sure you can figure it out)."

This reminds me of the remarks after the 1st sweet treat event. I love it when I can start my day off with a laugh!!!!

Thanks for the link, Becky. Donating blood is important to do if you are eligible, no matter where you are or what the occasion is. There's always someone who can use your gift. (speaking as a former donation scaredy-cat)

I think the article was wrong in stating that 30 people showed up, though. If 46 pints were donated, the math doesn't compute. Maybe 50 or 60 people showed up, or maybe they meant that 30 people signed up beforehand. It was great to see everyone there, now matter how many folks "showed up".
