Jim, the first week is the painful one but after that it is all uphill and goes quickly. Soon she will be so happy that that constant pain/ache is no longer there. |

Thanks for the advice! Linda is halfway home. We are staying at a friend's house for a few days. She is a RN and they just built a new one-story home about 4 miles from our house. It was designed with retirement in mind, so Linda is showing them the flaws! None so far. She is coming home for a visit tomorrow, to see how it goes. The cat is wondering where she is! |

I'm glad Linda is doing good. I wish her a recovery that is good & is as pain free as possible . I'm sure the cat will make sure the attention that was missed will be made up for when Linda gets to stay home to recoup.

Just make sure that Linda is doing all of the recommended PT exercises, either by going to PT, having a therapist do home visits, or by doing the work off the exercise sheet herself. Physical therapy is VERY important from Day One! |

Agreed, my wife's mother had both knees done at the same time, PT is really important. Her mother tuned into a seven year old child at times and refused to do the exercises. It has been about six years, knees are good but could have been alot better. |

What, dinner has to age or ferment a couple of weeks? |
