I'm selling a Remington 30-06 A-bolt for $650..... |
Hmmmm. I have reloading dies for the 30-06 but ...
I do like my Remington 270 though. I use a custom hand load that mimics the original designed load (130 gr soft point). Shoots great for hunting and punching quarter size groups @ 100 yards. I also have a 110 gr reduced recoil hand load for this which would be perfect for youth or when you just want to plink. |

Maybe we should have a "plinking" event. I have a 100 yd range with backstop on our hunting land. It could be a bring your own kaboom a event. |

My dad bought me the 30-06 for a B-day present about 20 years go. Got my biggest buck with it. But I have been using a Rem .280 pump with a synthetic stock. We have a another 30.06 that's never been out of the box, a .270 that wife used once, plus a .260 that's never been out of the box. I'm seeing my rifle so I can purchase a pistol. |
