Interesting, same unscientific study, the percentage drops to 12% |

We've done well over 100 of the challenges and really liked them. They took us to places where we've never been, gave us fun and variety, strengthened our marriage, and helped keep our relationship playful. Just like another game I can think of. That's what it is, or was, all about. We will mourn their passing but we'll get over it. |

I did a challenge once, when they first came out. Then I deleted it. |

Keep in mind that 78.6% of all statistics are made up in the spur of the moment (more or less). |

I guess actions speak louder than words.
when these first came out, most cachers stated that they didn't like the idea, but Groundspeak went with it anyways, now that they see we don't do them because its dumb, they finally get it.
im not surprised
Heres what id do, change one rule, they can only be placed within guidelines of regular caches. Meaning they would be on the map, but if a cache was already there, then you couldn't place it. Then they would only be placed in places that physical caches couldn't be placed due to no hiding spot, or park rules, etc. They would really be like the old virtuals then.
ps I looked at some, but never did any |

That's true Jim, but remember that we found out at election time that only three quarters of the people make up 75% of the population.
As for challenges, we had no interest in them at all. Never did a single one. Maybe we missed out on something, maybe not.
Regular geocaching is enough for us. |

looks like you don't get to keep the numbers. it no longer shows on your profile, and when you click on the "challenges" tab, it gives the same form letter response with no stats. |
