If you have an IATCC (ICE AGE TRAIL) EarthCache, the coordinator is asking that you update some of the wording which pertains to the IATCC. Her email to me is below. If anyone needs help updating the code on their cache page let me know...it takes me all of about three minutes to copy your page code and insert the changes. The below new text also includes an image (look at one of the three cache below to see the image they also want included).
Dear Gary;
Re: GC1A9G5 - IATCC - Parfrey's Glen State Natural Area
GC150BF - IATCC - The Niagara Escarpment; Brady's Rock
GC1NAPX - IATCC - Hartland Marsh
I conducted an audit of the IATCC sites and found that the Ice Age Trail write-up on yours is out of date. I would appreciate it if you would update it with the following information.
"IATCC is the cache designation to highlight a series of EarthCaches along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail grouped into a special category called "ColdCache."
The Ice Age Trail is one of eleven (11) National Scenic Trails designated by the National Park Service. This unique trail is entirely within the state of Wisconsin and follows along the terminal moraine of the most recent glacier.
This project is supported by the Ice Age Trail Alliance. The goal is to bring more visitors to the trail and promote public awareness, appreciation, and understanding of Wisconsin’s glacial landscape.
More information on the Ice Age Trail Atlas, the ColdCache Project and Awards Program is available at: http://www.iceagetrail.org/coldcache.htm."

Hm, I have a few caches on the Ice Age Trail but I've never used the IATCC....thing (don't really know what that is). Should I be updating? |

Are they EarthCaches? This an EC program....
If they are ECs...please list the GC numbers and I will take a look at em. Whether they are included in the program is up to the coordinator but I can get you her contact info. |

I don't think any of mine would apply. The only one that's close is GC2E5BZ, which is on a short nature loop that joins the IAT but the EC itself is not actually on the IAT. |

I did look at that listing...it might qualify. Did you want me to contact the IAT folks on your behalf to see if it will qualify for their awards program? |
