I preferred last year's blaze orange, makes it easier to find the kiddos in the woods! |

I think they are great and help identify us as a group thus making us look less weird to outsiders. If we all (or many of us) carry these we stand out to the public and thus the citizenry may tend to be less concerned by what we are up to and just assume (correctly) that it is an organized event. |

Last years bag is the perfect size to put my rain gear in. This years bag has been repurposed to hold my blaze orange hat, gloves, scarf, my hardhat and my construction worker vest. |

I use mine year-round, but now that I have 2 of them, I may be running out of uses for them. |

There great the kids get to replace their old torn Bay beach bags to carry their change of clothes for when they go to the pool. We also use one to carry swag. |

My family loves them! The girls loved the color this year.
We use them all the time after the event for stuff. |

What IF, you had to pay $5.00 to get the bag? Would you still want it OR would you take a plastic bag with all the paperwork in it and skip the color bags, which next year if the Chamber can get them would be teal. |

Then I'd be skipping the bag. |

Would depend on my mood I guess... hehe
If the cost is the concern, would be a good item for some company to sponsor. |

Considering that I can get these same bags, with printing, for $1.28 ... no, I would not pay $5.00 |

I think the sponsor Idea would be good, like Pathtags.com or Geocoin club or even a local business like West Bend (the ones that make the pots and Pans) |

$5.00 ? Would that include a certificate for a free burger at culvers and a scoop of custard from the place around the corner of the entrance to the park? If not then I would pass and take the plastic one. |

How about a VIP bag for $15 that included the bag and the events geocoin? Or maybe a discount for $13 if you bought the "VIP" bag, as opposed to buying each item at full price separately. On a side note, we as a family love the bags. |

you will prob only get 1% of the attendance of the event actually posting here, but here is my .02
Once you have something at a event as "free swag" and you take it away the following year, people will get mad. I heard quite a few disappointments with there not being a WBCB pathtag included in the swag bag this year. Many people came up to Val asking about it.
So even though I don't use the bag, many people do.
Like I said in a earlier post, try finding sponsors for the bag, (even put their logo on the bag if you have to).
Find a sponsor for the pathtags, (contact pathtags.com directly, they are a major sponsor at Midwest Geobash)
Start now, Its a 5 year anniversary of the event next year, get commitments early for sponsors. |
