Ha! The day before and the day after! Nothing on your actual birthday, though. No one was driveling yesterday, and I hope you had better things to do.

We met Dr. Evermore today. We, Madelyn and I, sat with him for 20 minutes. We heard some fun stories and were taught some valuable life lessons.

I'm glad to hear he's still greeting folks. He was a hoot and half when we met him in 2007. Glad you were able to enjoy his company, he's one of a kind.

My wife was just talking about the Halloween run for the Appleton YMCA fundraiser. Run in a costume? HMMM? I wonder if I could be a running princess? If I do, this will definitely require video and not just photos.

First things first though - 5K run tomorrow morning for St. Joes Menasha fundraiser.

I have 244 pictures that I can view in my camera playback mode that will not load onto my computer. If I can't get this figured out, I will be crushed. I spent a long special day with my daughter that started at 8:30 am with Mickey D's breakfast and ended with a 7:00 pm ride on a coin-op Dumbo at the Johnson Creek Outlet Mall. In between, there was the Forevertron, IAT Gibralter Segment, Gibralter Rock, trip on the Colsac, and many other fun stops. If the memory card is corrupt, I might have to do it again tomorrow.

He is not in great shape, but he was really kind, deep and insightful. He told me that I "brought Happiness to his soul" by bringing my daughter here to explore. He explained to Madelyn that a great artist is one that can create in the world the images they see in their head. He also explained that good art comes from the heart. If it is something you truly wished to create, it is good no matter what any one tells you including dad.

They shared an inter-galactic handshake.

I have some pictures..............maybe Rolling Eyes

If you don't have any luck, take it to a camera shop and see if they can do something. Those are memories you can keep in your heart, but the pictures will be treasures, too.

We got to enjoy his comic side while we visited. I asked him many questions about the Forevertron. I asked ....if for some strange reason, I wanted to go back to 1970, I could go up in the capsule, turn the right dials and I'd be there? He looked at me with deadpan seriousness and replied,...well miss, in theory that's the idea. But I was trying it one day and you see that cornfield? That's where I ended up.

We are heading to the camera shop when it opens. The files are corrupted. But from what I have read, the FUJI camera RAF files are easily repaired.

Good Story Birdin'. He was really more reflective when it came to his art. Madelyn told him right away that she wanted to be an artist like him. So, I think that set the tone for the conversation. He did joke to me that if this thing would have worked perfectly he wouldn't be sitting in a wheel chair unable to use his arm.

Sleeping in was great!
