I guess I the book on my phone. I downloaded the Kindle App for my phone than connected to my wife's Amazon account. She bought the book for me so I can read it while on my long plane trip to Norway.

That is, it will be available as soon as I finish reading it and turn it back in. First time I've had a FTF of a library book! I requested it's purchase as an addition to the library collection, the request was approved, and we picked it up today. Looks pretty good so far.

I put it a "hold" on it after you posted...got a call from the local library yesterday that it came in. It's about time you finished it Laughing
Thanks for the info...now I need to finish another one I'm reading before I get to it Very Happy

First to Find: A Novel is now owned by the Waupaca Public Library, and is available for checkout by anybody with an OWLS account (OWLSnet is a consortium of public libraries in northeast Wisconsin).

That is, it will be available as soon as I finish reading it and turn it back in. Second time I've had a FTF of a library book, the first was Cached Out a short while ago. BTW, that's a pretty good book. I requested purchase of several mysteries based on caching as additions to the library collection, the request was approved, the books are being processed for circulation. I'll pick up First to Find after work today.

The Waupaca Library has been very supportive of geocaching. In fact, we have a multi cache that starts there ( GC1XQZN ). Thanks to Peg B., the Library Director, for her help with that cache and for bringing in books of interest to us.

cYa, Jim

I know it's a bit far, but if any of you are going to the Berkshire Geobash in July (GC3G4AY) I've donated two autographed copies of Cached Out as raffle prizes. I'm planning to do the same for the 2nd Annual EarthCache Mega in St. George, Utah, in September but the organizers haven't gotten back to me yet. I may go to that Mega Event. In the meantime, I'm selling autographed copies by mail at a discount ($13 including postage and sales tax in the US) while supplies last. Contact me by email through GC.com (The Rat) or direct at Russ.Atkinson [at] gmail if interested.

The Waupaca Library has another of the recently published mysteries based on the theme of Geocaching. "Coordinates For Murder" by Darren Kirby, will be available to anybody with an account in the OWLS Library System. It will be back to the Waupaca Library tomorrow.

So Rod, we'll see how long it takes to get up to Oconto...

cYa, Jim
