I'm a bachelor this weekend, so I really don't know. Tombstone maybe? |

Bear meat, topped with a little cheese, and a side of sunflower. |

I'll be the only one here so I won't even be watching. |

I'm not sure, but curious. Last time I was in Belgium I watched the US election coverage which was interesting. This time I'm here and it's the Super Bowl.
I'm not sure what time the game starts, but I'm assuming I'll be sleeping while it's on. |

So did you have any plans yourself for Super Bowl food, HCH? Does Coops deliver?
I think our favorite meal was when we did tacos. Nothing fancy. Beer is good. |

*GASP* You are baching it and not breaking out the cast??? Actually its just the boys sunday/monday here too. I've got a eagle BOR at 7p on sunday so its going to be something quick for me and splash4.
Plus its scout sunday, fruit sale, lots of scout stuff sunday... so it might end up being mcd's. |

It is a New Orleans Superbowl. Gumbo Ya Ya over jasmine rice is the current plan.
It has nothing to do with the younger daughter wanting to make Gumbo ever since she saw "The Princess and the Frog" |

Oooh, a food post!
Superbowl Sunday.
2010: Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Root Beer Sauce
2011: Cheesy Chicken Quesadillas
2012: BBQ Baby Back Ribs
2013: I was thinking about making a homemade pizza with homemade dough. I got a pizza stone for Christmas that I want to use. I need to buy a pizza peel to make it the true experience.
I wondered about attempting to give a nod to each team in some way, but Baltimore doesn't really inspire me. At least with San Francisco, I could make soughdough bread crust for the pizza or something. What is Baltimore famous for? According to a google search, it seems like the answer is crab, perhaps with Old Bay seasoning. So perhaps I will make a crab pizza with a sourdough crust. I don't know. It's an option...
Jeremy really wants me to make my football people cookies.
We'll see. I'm still researching the possibilities... |

Coops has great pickled herring at the salad bar. Went to load up with salad, spied the fishies, and came back with a mountain of the slippery bits. Herring and beers would make a good Game Day spread. |
