Back to Wausau for day two of meetings. Group decided to start early (8:00) so that we could finish by 11:00 or so. Should give me time to grab a cache or two before the storm hits. |

He was on the Big Lake. He was on a snowmobile and fell through. He was underwater for about 35 mins. An eyewitness tried to get to him, but kept falling through himself. Only 34. Sad, ,very sad. |
It was only two weeks ago that Wandering Tracks took the ferry to Madeleine Island. Not that much time in the scope of things for Lake Superior to freeze. Sometimes we love our outdoors activities so much that our common sense gets fuzzy. It is OK to say "no" and come back at another time---or not at all--for that iffy cache. Trust your gut. |
