It was 3 years ago that a group of cachers went out to "Wet Maze" (GCB9A8). It is, once again, on the LCG List, and has been verified present.
I need to check the last WPs on "The Expedition" (GC3C4VW), now that the hard freeze has occurred.
Since the Packers are done, and there are no Events next Saturday, January 26th, I was wondering if there was any interest in getting a BAG to tag these 2 caches...Wet Maze at 11 AM and The Expedition at 1 PM?
Wet Maze would take about 90 minutes. The Expedition is an 8 part multi of about 2.5 miles round trip, on level terrain (hopefully frozen where wet!). Cachers could do 1 or both, depending on the drive or weather conditions.
The advantage on the multi is that the CO will be along, in case a WP is questionable.
If there is enough interest, Linda and I will provide hot chocolate at the end of the trek. |

I have been watching these two caches for some time. I was planning on trying them this weekend, but the warmer temps at the end of last week kept me away. I thought I would try them on the 26th, considering this week will not be above freezing.. The times will not work for me, but I may be out there. |

What's the wimp level here?
Someone who knows me, please respond: Thumbs up or thumbs down for us on these?
(Maybe Linda could use some help with the hot chocolate instead.) |

Basketball tourney all day Saturday, so I guess I'll have to wait for warmer weather. Will you bring me an ice cold lemonade and gatorade in July? |

Don't know about 'Expedition', but you'll have fun on Wet Maze. The cold weather should firm up the ice, and with a few others cutting trail, it shouldn't be a tough walk. If the grasses/'tails are down, you'll also get a good view.
If you catch a whiff of something that causes you to expect an "Excuse Me" from someone, then there is likely a bit of open water nearby - yes, the marsh gas there really does smell like that............... |

I talked to the boss and she said she would rather me do this in a group. I will meet whoever comes at the Wet Maze, Saturday at 11:00am. |

This is Wi_pattymel's type of caching, nothing more grueling than the entire R 2 R Series , unfortunately work beckons Saturday evening! |
