plunge is at 1 o'clock but get there noonish or you may have a hard time finding a parking spot. I think this gets more spectators than plungers.

there are also raffles, and other things going on as it is a fundraising event.

In essence he was terminated because the Vikings beat the Packers yesterday. I'm making the assumption that had the Packers beat the Vikings yesterday which would have put the Bears in the playoffs that he would not have been terminated.

I think it had more to do with the epic, sweet collapse in the second half of the season...

Good luck with the dip in the water, Pete. The one down here is a bit later in the winter and benefits Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I have never done one of these, but kudos to those of you willing to plunge for the greater good.
