Had the driveway nicely cleaned off last night, and the craphas seemed to be stopped, but I woke up to several inches of the white stuff in the driveway.

Craphas has really started coming down AGAIN. Screw it, I'm putting on the coffee pot and will be a spectator until it stops. |

I have been off since Thursday and don't have to be back to work till Wednesday. Was suppose to leave to Rochester, Mn in an hour but the wife woke up with a fever, so we canceled those plans. I guess I have some cache series I can go finish...
Oh well.

The sun is breaking through right now, but the snow is still lightly falling. Walks and drive are cleared, thanks to Mr. S. |

7 inches or so of new white stuff. What shall I do with it? Well that's an easy one... |

I get it now...when the weatherman said 1 to 2 inches of craphas, he put the word "to" in the middle of the numbers by mistake.

Done, and my daughter's driveway, too.
Swamphog and I got 3 FTFs in Marshfield this morning. While I was plowing my daughter's driveway I got the notification of another, about 1/2 mile from our first one this morning Now, do I drive back to Marshfield, or save it for a rainy day? |

Gc.com's notifications say xyz miles NW, marshfield isn't really nw by much from my home coords, its west so I always think this is up past tomahawk. |

Well I'm the big spoiler of some fun apparently today. It's always interesting to have officer friendly visit your house.
The local snowmobile club uses part of our property for their trail (which I'm completely OK with). Lately a couple of sleds have been zipping down the sidewalk though towards downtown but I haven't been able to figure out who they were or catch them in the act (although I knew where the tracks went but couldn't prove anything). Today I got a call from my in-laws telling me the sleds were headed my way as they just went past their house. Sure enough - I was able to meet them by the mailbox and they voluntarily gave up their drivers licenses to me when I asked for them. A quick call to the local po-po and within minutes officer friendly was on the scene. In the interim the 2 young (20 ish) guys proceeded to express there opinion about the whole scenario to me. When the officer arrived he gave me the option of a warning or citation. As chance would have it the local snowmobile club happened to be patroling the trails and were headed to the bar/grill across the street for lunch. They stopped to see what was going on and that's when it really got interesting. The local club was furious and told the officer, "If you don't issue a citation to these 2 idiots you aren't doing your job." I agreed to the citation and then the 2 guys informed me they are going to contest in court. I told them I was going to take a photograph of their sleds sitting on my sidewalk and they tried to protest but officer friendly said I was free to do so. It should be an interesting day in court. |
