Team Deejay has created and is maintaining a geocaching.com bookmark list containing all the geocaches recommended in this forum. Rather than browsing through all the forum posts made here in the past few years, the bookmark list provides a quick and convenient way to get information on the caches others have recommended.
Use the link below to view the bookmark list:
WGA Forums Recommended Caches Bookmark List
The following details about this bookmark list were provided by Team Deejay in another post.

This list contains all the non-archived caches ever recommended in the RC forum. When a series was recommended, I included all the caches in the series, with 4 exceptions: Aesop's Villa By The Sea, Along The Milky Way, Clue, and Flag. These series all had clear "final" caches, where finding the final was dependent on finding the rest of the series. I would be willing to add these other caches as well, but I'm curious whether people think that's necessary.
Note that if you are an owner of a recommend series who likes to add and delete caches from the series (Zuma!), let me know about the additions. I can catch the archives on my own.
Also, the list currently includes caches far away from Wisconsin. I'm tempted to limit the list to Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois, and delete off the caches in Nevada, Massachusetts, etc. Again, I would like to hear people's opinion on the best way to handle this.
One last thing: while you CAN browse this list online, it is really more effective to download this into a database like GSAK or EasyGPS. This really pushes the bookmark display engine on GC.com, to the point where it occasionally breaks and you need to start over (relaunch the webpage). Have fun with this!

I was looking through the list quickly. I can't believe there aren't more Marinette County caches on the list. Quite a few of our favorites have been in northeastern Marinette Co. Basically, we enjoyed every lil' otter cache we have done up that way, the only drawback to them is that they are almost all micros....but they are in fine locations. Specifically here are a few caches we liked...
Letterman Tripped GC2E9A
52-Pickup - WWF #25 (Long Slide Falls) GCG5R4
52-Pickup - WWF #26 (Pemene Falls) GCG5QW
52-Pickup - WWF #31 (Sturgeon Falls) GCG5RD
52-Pickup - WWF #32 Horseshoe Falls) GC858B
52-Pickup - WWF #29 (Smalley Falls) GCG5R9
A couple of other caches we have bookmarked because we enjoyed them are..
City Park - Marinette GCNEA5
Arboretum Adventure GCH693 |

We are new to the hobby. I'm not sure how to begin. I am familiar with a GPS. If some one could give us some pointers that would be great.
Thanks. |

I would love to, but we don't have the ability to "split" a thread. willgr4 should just repost there.
In answer to Wayne's year old question, cleaning up the bookmarks is on the agenda for the year. |
