Not exactly by my choice (ok, not at all my choice) my plans for a fast trip to florida have been changed from a down and back semi-caching focused trip to a slightly longer down and back with more bladders to deal with on the trip.
So we have about 36 hours to do something in Florida with 2 tweeners, we are going to be just south of tampa and can go from there east to orlando as our farthest point east and then anywhere on from there northwest back to wisconsin.
Anyone been down there recently and have a suggestion?
thanks |

How about soak in the sun and make vitamin D? That would be my choice today.

As long as I can have a glass of vitamin T with the sun and sand;)
Interesting thoughts. The space center is too far east though |

This was an interesting place years ago.........if you're into a bit of history and beach: Fort de Soto Park
There's also a neat bridge to drive over next to it.......likely the highest elevation in the state |
