I ended up getting a last minute offer to work in Gillette, WY next week. Ralph (my husband Zuma) has to work and none of the people that I usually work with can go either. It seems like a waste to drive out there all by myself, so I thought I would see if anyone would like to come with. Monday will not be too much fun because I will be leaving Eau Claire at 6am, stopping in Winona, MN for about an hour to take a test before I go and then I will be driving straight through to Gillette. I will be working in the early morning hours, starting at 3am Tues-Thurs and then taking my time driving home, seeing the sights along the way. It would be fun to do some geocaching, especially if I had someone to go with. If you want to join me it would be nice if you could take care of figuring out which caches would be the best to go to. I will be free to geocache/sight see starting at noon on most days and all day on Friday. It will be an inexpensive trip, just your own food and a little for gas if you like. I can't promise you a bed - because work is providing the lodging, but I know if you bring a sleeping bag you will have a free room to sleep in(and probably a bed). I will be taking I-90 the entire way and it looks like it should be a nice drive. If you have a blue dress shirt, black pants and black shoes you might even be able to work - only people skills needed. I am pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Just send me an e-mail if you are interested in going. - Robin |

Oh I would really, really love to. Too bad that work, kid's school and real life stuff just get in the way. Wyoming is a seriously underrated state. I hope that you have good time. Make sure you make at least a brief (or longer if you can) stop in the Badlands on your way on I90. |

Shucks! I would love to go, but don't have enough vacation left this year. As others have mentioned the Badlands are not to be missed, and if you have time be sure to swing up to see Devil's Tower. Have a great trip! |
