Cache Rescue Mission CR1049
Mission Details The cache GPSCamp Cache-Menomonee Falls has been archived. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to: - Go to the coordinates listed for this cache
- Verify that the cache container no longer exists at this location.
- If the cache container does exist, take it with you and properly dispose of it. This includes any pieces of a damaged cache, and all intermediate waypoints of a multicache.
- Report on the action you have taken and get credit for your work by filing a mission report here and by posting a note on the geocaching.com cache page.
Mission Notes The wasps shouldn't be too much of a problem now. Mission History
[Verified Complete] 03/24/2007 20:19 by Administrator Thanks for completing another rescue mission PharmTeam! |
[Completed Mission] 03/24/2007 12:02 by pharmteamK Cache Verified As Being Removed: Yes Was Cache Container Present: Yes, cache container was intact and huntable Snow gone so we decided to check while we were in the area for other caches. Area looked as if it had been recently flooded. Found the cache container until some debris in the general area it should have been. Removed container (it was not waterproof and log book sodden but somewhat readable) |
[Note] 02/22/2007 08:09 by Administrator E-mail from Lonesumdove said the cache was basically in the open on the ground not covered, even with sticks about 20-30 ft NE of the downed tree. We covered that far in all directions but there is snow and we mainly looked for places we would hide something 4x7 so the area can't be considered clear yet. Lots of weeds, prickers but no hornets or wasps now though. |
[Note] 02/21/2007 15:04 by Administrator No wasps and no container that we could find in any of the places we looked. Since we did not find the active cache we have e-mailed Lonesomedove to confirm where the cache was when she found it. The area is probably clear of the cache |
