Mission Details

The cache Little Cache on the Prairie needs some maintenance work. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to:

• Go to the coordinates listed for this cache
• Perform the maintenance work the owner has requested. The details of what needs to be done should be listed in the mission notes section below.
• Report on the action you have taken and get credit for your work by filing a mission report here and by posting a note on the geocaching.com cache page.

Mission Notes

We haven't been able to travel as much with our caching and have been looking for someone to adopt this replacement that we put there over two years ago when we adopted it. The cache has fared very well in the environmental park and has had a lot of logs by those who have enjoyed a visit to the park to make the find. It's a great place for the cache. At this point, we wonder if the log is getting full and noted a recent log mentioning it may need a slight move away from an ant hill. The cache has been in the park for five years and is one of the older caches in the area. We'd like to see it continue to be there for others to find. All it needs is a little TLC as it's survived very well with no maintenance for quite some time. We had one inquiry from a prospective adopter recently, but no take yet. If you live somewhere in the area and can take it on, or know of a new cacher who would like to have a cache, please pass the word.
