Mission Details The cache 2-N-1 has been archived. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to: - Go to the coordinates listed for this cache
- Verify that the cache container no longer exists at this location.
- If the cache container does exist, take it with you and properly dispose of it. This includes any pieces of a damaged cache, and all intermediate waypoints of a multicache.
- Report on the action you have taken and get credit for your work by filing a mission report here and by posting a note on the geocaching.com cache page.
Mission Notes Multi-cache, need somebody who remembers where the stages are (were) to verify that all traces of this cache are picked up. Mission History

[Completed Mission] 03/09/2008 12:03 by Geo Owls Cache Verified As Being Removed: Yes Was Cache Container Present: Yes, some pieces of the cache container were found We cleaned up three of the waypoint micros but were unable to find (I believe) one micro of it. |
[Note] 03/21/2007 16:01 by Administrator I went out again today. Looked for about 45 minutes and could not find anything at (cement block) 44.30.239 & 87.56.566. I don't know that I want to spend any more time looking for something that may not be there. I assume Tenner was contacted about the removal of his cache, since it was his cache. If you can think of anything more we could do to "rescue" this 2 N 1, please let us know. Geo Owls. |
[Note] 03/18/2007 21:40 by Administrator Hi. This is the first cache rescue we have attempted. We began with the broken post with a metal tag listing two lat longs. We followed one set of coordinates to a stump on a steep hill, then a dead, sort of chopped on tree (the micro there was chewed badly by an animal, the plastic and the paper inside), and the final ammo can I just happened to pick out of a pile of garbage when I was doing the Baird Creek clean up last spring.
We are still working on the second part of the 2 n 1. The rocks where the first stage is hidden was covered by way too much snow. We will go there soon to try and get to that final- then I think it will be officially "cleaned up". We will post our findings as soon as we can get out and seek.
