Mission Notes First waypoint is apparently not legible. Cache has 4 stages
Waypoint 1: N43 01.950, W88 23.571 under the 3rd step from the bottom of
the tower
Waypoint 2: N43 01.909, W88 23.256 attached to a fallen tree to the
south side of the ice age trail.
Waypoint 3: N43 01.785, W88 23.107 attached to the back side of bench

Cache Verified As Being Removed: Yes
Was Cache Container Present: Yes, cache container was intact and huntable
WP1 was not readable and with the traffic at the tower today we did not get all the screws holding it out, just removed the tag. Used our notes for WP2 and found it--it contained the WP3 W coord error 0f 23.211 and we found it at the original 23.107. Recognized the bench and trail at WP3 removed that tag and followed the trail we remembered to the final. Box was there and removed. Fun reading the old logs..including ours |
