Was Cache Container Present: Yes, some pieces of the cache container were found
We found the location of the first waypoint, which was written in permanent marker on the back of a sign. Not much we could do to remove this. Surprisingly, the coordinates on the sign were different from that listed in the rescue note.
We hiked to the waypoint listed in the rescue note, but didn't find anything there. Then we went over to the waypoint listed on the sign. Here we found two half gallon size zip-loc bags full of normal cache contents (log, pencils, various loot), but no container. We hauled all the stuff back to the car. Cleanup Complete. |
