Yes, someone may have mentioned that to him. Someone may have suggested that he go with the Patriot, instead. But sometimes Little Jim gets a might stubborn. Just like his mother.
08/02/2015 at 3:30 pm #2041845We had a nice little downpour here with some small hail.
08/02/2015 at 3:50 pm #2041846Still waiting on the wet weather here…we have had nothing when it seems everyone else is getting it this past week.
Can the thread stealers possibly offer suggestions for me again? Two issues, camera and car.
Camera–Same day and time, I take one photo and it is fine, then the next few are blurry. I get the message Lens Error and it struggles to retract the lens and shut off. Sometimes it doesn’t open. The camera is a Nikon Coolpix S3000 if that is helpful. The manual doesn’t have any info on a lens error message.
Car–I had an oil change a month ago and have driven about 1000 miles and now my change oil soon light is coming on. Could this be something simple like a sensor or something catastrophic like I don’t even want to imagine?
Don’t worry, I won’t hold you to your advice. I plan to seek out the pros if it is not an easy fix. Thanks, all!

Recharge battery or grit

08/02/2015 at 5:36 pm #2041848Sounds like a faulty oil change light.
After an oil change the mechanic is supposed to reset the light. It then just counts miles until its time to turn on again.
It may be that it wasn’t reset when the oil was changed.
08/02/2015 at 5:55 pm #2041849Haven’t seen any rain yet but plenty of wind. I’ve got white-caps on the bird bath.
08/02/2015 at 8:20 pm #2041850No issues with the Jeep getting to Penninsula…not so lucky getting a site…power is down from the storm and the park computers are dead. Lots of trees down…southbound traffic in Egg Harbor was backed up half way to Fish Creek…hope they get the power up overnight.
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
08/02/2015 at 8:47 pm #2041851…..that doesn’t sound fun. We got about three minutes of rain and a few flashes of lightning, nothing major in the city this evening.
I let my premium membership lapse. I can’t log caches I found a few weeks ago until I pay the frog. I am too lazy to go get my wallet. I will have to do it tomorrow or whenever.

08/03/2015 at 6:09 am #2041855I think Birdin’ is or was.
Monday. I should have left 9 minutes ago, but I am drivilin’ instead.
08/03/2015 at 7:01 am #2041856Nope…we’re too new to the game for that. Hot dogs off trail are charter members. Natloh might also be. I think Trudy and the beast, jvechinski and Kbraband are all charters. Oh, also pharmteam.

08/03/2015 at 8:34 am #2041858Just completed some unofficial research on Charter Members. I went back in all the old logs of Pike Powder Hike, figuring that most charter members in Wisconsin would have gone for that at one time or another. Being that it is in the SE part of the state, there could have been others from farther away who never went there, and I found five charter members from other states who had found the oldest cache in Wisconsin, but here are the results of my research…
The CO of PPH, kbraband, is NOT a charter member. Neither is jvechinski, nor natloh2. Those cachers probably were around at the time charter memberships were being created, but they evidently did not become GC charter members, for whatever reasons. I did verify that PharmTeam, Hotdogs_Off_Trail, and Trudy and the Beast are charter members, but I also found that leelansinger and The Cheeseheads are charter members.
Maybe hack1of2 has found more in his historical gleanings.
