With just me and the dogs, all heaters are turned off.
Noticed a warning indicator on the car today. Oil. Not sure what exactly it means, but it is my only vehicle. Not sure how to get it checked either. I guess I can stop by the local repair guy and have him look at it to see what he can see. Getting it fixed is not something that will be easy if it needs to go back to the shop. The best sig is no sig.

05/10/2015 at 8:52 pm #2039663Had visitors this afternoon. Jordan, his brother Jared, and their little sister stopped by with some geocaching questions. Oh, and Dad, too. Looks like they are all having a great time. Jared, who previously showed no interest in geocaching, was operating the GPSr and logging finds in the field notes. Even Dad seemed to be having a good time. Dad said that Jordan “goes nuts” every time they make a find. Can’t wait to see some logs, though I expect that they will be typical newby logs.

I am amazed at all the cool stuff being donated. We’ve picked out a couple of favorites, too.
It’s CAMPOUT/CITO/PANCAKE WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good time. Weather looks nice, game should fun, lots to do this week to prepare and lots to do at the events. Have we had a busier campout before?

05/11/2015 at 6:47 am #2039673Howâs the hiking in Parfreyâs Glen since the boardwalk washed out?
It was fun. You have to cross the stream a couple of times â but makes for a fun adventure. Parfreyâs Glen defines natureâs beauty. Like my daughter said, âyou just donât expect to see that in Wisconsin.â
Gah! Â I’ve never gotten to go there! Â I stopped once after hiking at Devil’s Lake and the sign said no dogs and Coco was already in the car with me. Â I couldn’t just leave her! Â What’s the best season to go?

05/11/2015 at 6:54 am #2039675I stopped to find one cache yesterday (It was mother’s day so I get to take a 5 minute break from moving, right?) and in just those few minutes I got a tick on me. Â I guess I should start using my cedarcide every time I leave the car!
