05/10/2015 at 8:50 am #2039645The last virtual we’ve found was in Sept. 2013. Oh, to be able to travel widely and freely again. Not gonna happen any time soon. But…..we’ll be celebrating our 35th anniversary camping and getting two virtuals in the BWCA, so the drought will end. There are still a couple in the Twin Cities awaiting us, too.

05/10/2015 at 1:54 pm #2039651Spent some time picking and choosing caches to do on an upcoming road trip, loaded them all up, then found that the ones I had loaded this morning aren’t showing up. 😡 The eTrex 20 has been doing that off and on ever since we got it, and Garmin wants to know if I have tried loading any OpenCaching caches instead… 🙄
05/10/2015 at 2:30 pm #2039652What a wonderful early Mother’s Day day Saturday. Madison Farmer’s Market and then a hike in Parfrey’s Glen (my favorite place in Wisconsin) – where we saw a beautiful bluebird! Followed that up by a hike up and down the west and east bluffs at Devil’s Lake and my quads are feeling it today. Then back home on the motorcycles. Happy mother’s day to all!

05/10/2015 at 2:33 pm #2039653How’s the hiking in Parfrey’s Glen since the boardwalk washed out?

It was fun. You have to cross the stream a couple of times – but makes for a fun adventure. Parfrey’s Glen defines nature’s beauty. Like my daughter said, “you just don’t expect to see that in Wisconsin.”
