Original Post:

Defining the state into quadrants for purpose of rotating WGA events has always been a “gray” area.  This was one of many concerns addressed at the recent 2017 BOD meeting. It was decided to divide the state into quadrants from the geographical center of the state, which is Pittsville, or N44 37.458 W89 59.646. Since the WGA Spring Campout & Fall Picnic have already been planned and the venues booked, it was decided that going forward, this division should be used to determine future events. Events will continue to be rotated as they have in the past. The map shows the new divisions.

Updated Post:

After the BOD posted the quadrant divisions that they came up with at the 2017 BOD meeting this still remained a “gray” area.  Questions were raised by the members and the BOD readdressed the issue.  It seems the information that was obtained from different web sites making our division wrong.  The actual geographical center of the state is actually Auburndale, or N44 37.458  W89 59.646  We have updated the map showing the quadrant divisions.  Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.
